Sometimes you want to restrict viewing to certain articles, setting a password is a great solution.

Using this plugin, visitors must enter the correct password to be able to view the content on your site. If you do not want to protect the entire content, you can also set up areas that you want to restrict viewing (e.g. download links ...).

* This plugin is compatible with Joomla 3, 4 and 5 + All versions of SP Page Buider.

Install the plugin via the Joomla installer. Next, go to the plugin management section, find the plugin "System - Password for SP Page Buider" to start.

Password for SP Page Builder configuration

Next, add the pages you want to password protect. Under "Zone", you can choose "Page" if you want to protect all content or "Element" if you want to protect a part of the content.

ID is the "id" of the SP Page Builder item. You can find it in the SP Page Builder item list section.

Finally, set other basic parameters and remember to “Enable” this plugin to finish.

    Do you have more documentation for this anywhere? So far, this page is all that I've found. Not even a link in the zip file leading to a documentation page. Are we supposed to figure out how it works from the few instructions here? I'm trying to hide a video on a page behind a password. The request for password never shows up anywhere. The "ID" is unclear since there is an ID for the module I want to show inside of SP and also an ID for that particular element inside of SP. Then when I select element, the Zone asks me for a path to the element. What is that? This isn't a page with a link so do you want the link to the page with the #id in the url? Yea, need way more instructions.

      @g1755279766 Hi,
      Most of these are small widgets, so the documentation is included on the product page.
      As the documentation on this page says, ID is the ID of the SP Page Builder item. And "#id" is the path of the element (in your case, the video). Of course, it is only required if you choose "Zone" as the "Element".
      ------
      Could you let me know when you choose "Zone" as "Page", does the plugin work?
      -----
      To know the path to the element, you can use the browser's developer tools [ Press F12 (Windows/Linux) or Option + ⌘ + I (Mac) ]
      Next, select the element you want to protect and do as I attached the image.
      Otherwise, you can give me access to your website, I will help you soon. Email me: contact@joomsun.com
      Thanks!

      @g1755279766 Also why is the only documentation here and demo for the author content when you sell 10 other extensions?
